'AD&D, Khavik Style' Banner

"The following pages are taken from an older version of HTML, and directly from the old site that was posted on GeoCities. Rather than code through scores of pages to fix bugs and update the HTML in them, the 2nd Edition information contained herein is left 'as is'. Please be aware of this when following the links."

Three dozen weapons styles. Over one meg of text on one world: Gaeleth. Short stories and campaign modules rolled into one. Statistical analysis of level progression. Metallurgical study of fantasy ores. Items with more history than most characters. Random encounters based off of an ecological study for each biome. First-hand perspective on DMing an adventure, and PCing a nightmare. If thy curiousity hath been piqued, then indulge thy mind, and lend thy roving eye to the pursuit of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons -- Khavik Style.

The Analyses are studies and thoughts on several aspects important to most Advanced Dungeons and Dragons worlds. They deal with a number of key issues, such as infravision, the currency systems of various worlds, and the very nature of magic itself. More analyses are in the works, and topics of discussion are always welcome.

The References are miscellaneous aspects of the game that are always unique to each campaign, and each group of players. Information listed can be used as ideas and starting boards for others, or further develop aspects of a campaign or campaign setting. The 'house rules' are divided into four sections: character generation, proficiencies, magic and magical items, and miscellania. Of particular note are the rules concerning potential boons and banes, in those rare instances when someone returns from the dead.

The Additions are extra and added campaign items, proficiencies, spells, and the like. Each is used to spice up the traditional materiel available for settings. A number of the magical items are intended for high-level campaigns, and are not actually intended to be in the control of Player Characters. Example kits include the Guardian fighter, and the Night Ranger. While the items list is somewhat extensive, additional spells, proficiencies, kits, classes, and creatures are welcome considerations.

The Chronicles are fictional stories based loosely on actual gaming experiences. The Kaladin Chronicles detail a Forgotten Realms campaign set in the southern lands of Erlkazar, the Bright Kingdom. The Kaladin Chronicles are run by Todd Antill, and further details are available at his White Wolves Page. The Prat Chronicles detail a parallel Oerth, known as Grayhawke, and run by Chris Altnau. Further details are available on Grayhawke (with an 'e'), at Hawke's Castle.

The Worlds are unique campaign worlds that have been created for characters and situations unique to my style of play. Gaeleth, Brijanis, and Jazed are known, together, as the Sister Worlds. Gaeleth is a world where magic and technology have advanced and fallen several times in a viscious cycle. Brijanis is a world steeped in the past, beaten into submission time and time again by ruler after ruler. Jazed is a world of psionicists, where magic fails, and the only reliable powers are steel and telekinetics. Abode is a warworld, hovering on the edge of disaster, its diverse demihuman races forced to ban together beneath the onslaught from other planes.
