| Brijanis is a tiny world whose weather is its greatest enemy. A water world, its hurricans and typhoons continually threaten all but its largest land masses. Its civilizations are stagnant, held back by empires in the vise of immortals, immortals that can only be killed by incineration. Steel is a strange metal, forbidden to the common man, availabe only to the elite and the conquerors -- and even then it is ancient, its secret lost in the annals of history.
Considered a backwater, its only redeeming quality is its people. The immortals have spent millennia breeding warriors to fight, and to die. And now the warriors are showing signs of rebellion -- intelligence, deviousness, and cunning. The paltry mages and clerics of the world are learning, as well. The prophecies have come true. The ancient enemy has returned -- Gaeleth once again moves with Brijanis about Maroth. And war is inevitable. Construction is set to begin. Now all we need are vict -- uhms... Volunteers. |
