Bishop and Baron Nodrom "Dwarfendale" Fistforger created this gauntlet to aid him on Gaeleth during the Battle of the Undead. The gauntlet is made of mithrel, with golden bands set around the fingers, indicative of rings. The gauntlet automatically confers upon its wielder a powerful defense against fire, as though the wearer had on a ring of fire resistance. If detect magic is cast on the gauntlet, it glows faintly of deitific elemental fire magic.

The gauntlet can cure light wounds, as though the wearer were a cleric, once per day for 1d8HP. The gauntlet can also cure moderate wounds twice per day for 1d10+1HP. Once per day, the gauntlet can also create a flame strike in a column five feet wide and up to thirty feet long, dealing 6d8 points of damage (save vs spells for half damage).

Dwarfendale's primary use of the gauntlet was its flame blade, which could be activated at will. The flame blade would spring forth from the back of the gauntlet's hand, creating a blade of pure fire roughly two feet long. The blade could deal 1d4+4 points of damage (2d4+8 if used in conjunction with a successful blow from the gauntlet itself). The blade dealt 1d4+6 points of damage to all undead (2d4+10 with a blow-strike). Against creatures normally immune to fire, the blade dealt 1d4+2 points of damage (2d4+6 with a blow-strike). The flame blade would last as long as necessary, and could potentially last indeffinitely if it were not shut down by the will of the wearer at any point.
