Sword acts similar to a mace of disruption

Night-Hunter can hold undead once per day, and detect undead twice per day, as though it were a 13th level mage. It does so upon mental command, at the will of the wielder.

The sword has an Intelligence of 13, and an Ego of 19. Alignment of the sword is Neutral Good, and it communicates only with the wielder, via empathy. Anyone of good alignment may wield the sword. Any evil creature touching the hilt of the sword takes 5d4 points of damage per round touching it, with no save, and no magic resistances applying.

Acting similar to a mace of disruption, the sword may affect any undead creature, as well as evil creatures from the lower planes. Skeletons, zombies, ghouls, shadows, wights, and ghasts are instantly destroyed, if the sword touches them. Other undead and evil lower planar creatures are destroyed only some of the time, as noted on the following table:

Creature Hit Dice Chance of Destruction
    Wraiths 6 95%
    Mummies 7 85%
    Spectres 7 70%
    Vampires 9 55%
    Ghosts 10 40%
    Liches 11 25%
    Specials 11+ 10%

Remember; some creatures simply cannot be turned or disrupted, such as DemiLiches and DracoLiches.
