Labond dominates the Ackonif Mountains, and controls a small portion of the Sharanol Steppes, on the continent of Galanath. It is bordered by the Goordune Ocean on three sides, the fourth opening up onto the plains. The kingdom is primarily interested in trade, as it mines a considerable amount of raw materials, before sending the pure product on to other destinations. The plains portion of the population consists of large amounts of farmland that are irrigated from the annual run-off of the tall Ackonifs. The deep-water ports along the southern portion of the kingdom are steadily active, year round, serving as warehousing and storage points -- old salt mines perfectly preserve a great deal of food, dehydrating it, before it is shipped elsewhere. The major deity in Ackonif is Mikindim, followed closely by Barith.
