'Nations' refers to the various tribal associations, racial characteristics, and physical localities of the peoples of Gaeleth. A nation is not necessarily a nation-state, complete with a flag and a titular ruler. Where appropriate, statistics are given on the nation's alignment, bribeability, racial make-up, et cetera. 'Bribeability' is a measure of how much the average citizen of a given nation would be willint to accept a bribe, in exchange for looking the other way during border crossings, at customs, and the like. One half of that percentage is a measure of how much the average citizen would be willing to perform acts against the normal alignment for the nation, in exchange for bribes.
