Special Thanks

I would like to take this opportunity to give warm and very sincere thanks to some special people.

Dungeons and Dragons
I'd like to thank Chris Altnau and Todd Antill for introducing me to the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Without their enthusiam and experience as Dungeon Masters, I would never have had a focus these past years for my writing. Chris showed me as often as not just what not to do as a Dungeon Master, and at the same time kept me coming back again and again. Todd showed me what should be done, also keeping me coming back. To the both of you, and your families for putting up with the rowdy messes of us playing, I'm very grateful.

My brother Luke was my first Player Character. At first repulsed by Dungeons and Dragons, he later changed his mind, and asked me, a player of barely one years' time, to be his Dungeon Master. Never had I been so challenged, and I was rather humbled by the experience. Thank you very much, Luke, for pushing me to create Gaeleth. Without you, this page would never have been conceived. I'd also like to thank the rest of my family, for letting me go off to play in the wee hours of the night, and then to kidnap the younger son as well. My mother and father were very supportive of my using imagination, and let me have the freedom to choose.

Special thanks goes to Jared Ho and Jason Hoffman, for their enormous contributions to the backgrounds of many of Gaeleth's nations. These two -- Jared in particular-- have single-handedly created the political intriques, histories, armies, and background for the entire continent of Chilleth. Of all the people I have asked for help in creating and defining Gaeleth, you have been the greatest Godsend. My limited knowledge of the Oriental peoples was aided somewhat by a year-long stay in Korea, but your enthusiasm for the Oriental, and Japan in particular, gave you a decided edge in bringing to life what had formerly been just a map, and a few ideas.

Additional thanks goes to Daniel Clark, who created the concept of the Shadow Guard. In addition to the Shadow Guard, Dan helped design a number of weapons and creatures, and served as a sounding board for some of my more outlandish ideas.

Almost forgotten in the annals of my memory were the contributions of Tony Flores, who created the Goddess Xoriah, and the God Infierne. Tony also helped produce a lot of the timeline from the Shaping Wars, and created The One, and his elementalists.
