In the Beginning... Mission 15

"Father Bryan took over immediately, and interrogated the two at length. The mithrilzed, holy quarrel was placed over the holy forge, which relit at Dwarfendale's bequest. Fistforger dumped most of his gold and silver on the anvil, and it was molten immediately. Dwarfendale received a dream vision outlining a page of the Holy Book, a picture that is of importance to all."

Luke set two precedences: 1) worship of Galgiran by placing offerings in a holy forge, and having them melt down, and 2) setting himself up as a part of prophecy. At that time, I did not have the whole history of the Light Forgers, who would become the Rakanus Clan of priests -- but I had an inkling of it. One of my better ideas was not to put too much down, but to let it all float around in my head. It turned into mush at some point, but there was still enough in there to help the players crystalize the rest.

Unfortunately, those are all the notes I could find. A lot more happened, over the course of the campaign. The next thing the boys did was run off to Kur Maeth, and find the Karasenth Bracers of Galgiran, using the ring of tracking, I believe. After that, it was off to Mount Basilisk, to fight off two vampiresses and their minions determined to keep the Warkore Clan from uniting the whole of the peninsula. Old Chief Graniteshoulders died, though; the vampiresses tried to make him over into one of them. His son would go on to become King of all Rakore, and his trusted servants, the Firestorm, would try to stay one step ahead of Demik Coruth and his damned undead. That, though is another story.
