Feats: Power Attack, Weapon Focus (Bastard Sword), Cleave, Improved Initiative, Weapon Specialization (Bastard Sword), Dodge, Mobility..
Languages: Common, Elven
Possessions: Rain dresses in burgundy-colored, studded leather, including shoulder and thigh greaves. She carries slung across her back a large bastard sword, and a longbow. On her hip is a quiver of twenty arrows. She also carries a small carry-sack over one shoulder full of miscellania and rations, with a bed roll strapped to it. Rain wears a pair of sharkskin gloves (climb +2) that give her a phenomenal ability to hold onto her weapons, or to climb with. She also wears the ruby ring of Alibazcar.

Appearance: Rain is a spectacularly cut woman, with a considerable amount of elven beauty and human power. Her raven-black hair reaches to her shoulders, and is often bound back in a simple pony-tail. Her green eyes are full of anger for most people, and full of compassion for most animals. Rain's studded-leather armor, her weapons, and her powerful physique make her quite intimidating, yet her slightly elven appearance, bronzed skin, and innocent laugh make her quite alluring.

Background: Rain's grandfather Irideth was a mercenary that settled in the northern Shaefa Plains of Baroneth, after a life-time's worth of work as a hired sword. He and his son began a small horse ranch, breaking and training the wild horses of the Shaefa along the shores of Lake Vircor. They often traded their horses at the Great Fair in Ikoranil, where the Banoc Elves, the Sholin fishermen, and even the Al Fahiman merchants gathered each year. Irideth's son fell in love with one of the elven women at the Great Fair, but the couple was forced to elope because of the Banoc Elves' views against humans. Returning to Lake vircor, the couple became parents to Rain. At an early age, Rain showed great potential as both a horseman, and as a warrioress. Irideth took to training the young half-elf to defend herself, both against the barbarian plainsmen, and against the elves that would spurn her for her half-human heritage. At the age of twenty-three, Rain's wanderlust, coupled with tales spun by her grandfather, grew too great to contain her in the tiny community she grew up in. Heading west, she hoped to find new breed stock for the plains horses of her family, and see the world. In Tulish, she found passage to the nation of Rakore, where she met up with a group of unique individuals. Together, they would form a new adventuring group, all of whom sought new capital for their various interests.

Roleplaying Notes: Rain feels as though most men are friendly with her, only to bed her -- for if her weapons and armor don't warn them away, then they're after her. But, once she makes friends, she trusts them, for the most part. While her elven features and ignorance of local customs makes her appear very much the naive and innocent woman, she has seen her share of battle and fighting against barbarians, sailors, and many others. Strong and willful, she can use her feminine beauty when she chooses, and is not above 'flashing a bit of leg' in order to haggle down a price or find passage on a ship. Rain seems to relish the fighting that such displays invariably bring down on her with overeager men. Isolated as she was from elven society, her mother was never-the-less thorough in her teachings, and Rain has a good grasp of the Sylvan Elvan community, though she prefers not to interact with it.
