Weapon proficiencies: Battle-axes, shields, sword-and-shield style.

Nonweapon proficiencies: Reading and writing; religeon; spellcraft; healing; herbalism; land-based riding -- bears.

Khazad's Pic Appearance: A tall, heavy-set young dwarf, Khazad's strawberry-blonde beard precedes him wherever he goes. He dresses in dark leathers that are a stark contrast to his bright chain mail, the shirt of which covers him from head to mid thigh. Steel leg greaves and shin guards further add to the silvery effect.

Background: Khazad received a vision from his god, Clangeddin Silverbeard, of a legion of silver knights marching to battle against a terrible evil. Acting more on instinct than logic, Khazad headed east from his home city of Tibold. Along the way, he lost his bear mount, and somehow or another found himself in the capital of Erlkazar, Llorbauth. Needing money, Khazad hired on under a mage travelling further east. The mage, Nerin Jhanerael, died in the course of the escort mission; it turned out that he was a Harper. Working to finish the work of the 'Hidden Harper', Khazad helped form the Company of the White Wolves with the rest of Nerin's hired help. Now, based out of Dhulnarim, he and the White Wolves struggle against time to fulfill the vision.

Magical items: Shieldcrusher (if a shield fails its save, it can be destroyed with a deafening thunder clap), Everbright-treated chain-mail shirt and gauntlets, special coif, boots of speed, the Brightshield.

Equipment: Holy symbol, prayer book.

Role-playing notes: Khazad is a holy warrior, through and through. His first thought is always to the battle and glory of his lord, Clangeddin Silverbeard. After the blood and guts have been spilled on the battlefield, he then uses his priestly spells to clean up and heal up those that remain. Mercurial, he ranges from wise thinker to bloodlusted warrior, sometimes opting to skirt battle for greater glories ahead, and sometimes rushing straight on into certain doom.
