Supply Shops
Sevent's Supply House
The Merchant House of Sevent trades adventuring and everyday items. Most equipment from the Player's Handbook can be found here. The Supply House is run by a Chondathian man named Moreau Sevent, who is the son of Gregor Sevent, the Guild Master.
The Iron Cask
This Mercantile is in direct competition with Sevent's Supply House, running a close second in sales. The Iron Cask is owned by the Iron Oars Merchant House, and is run by a very business-like man named Gaverin.
Elias's Mercantile
This small shop is not tied to any local guilds, and is run by a local man named Elias. Elias is an old man, but he has contacts everywhere. His items are generally the same prices as his competitors, but on occasion he can be more expensive. Elias can also order most any item a customer needs, including hard-to-get items. Elias' history is a secret that he has kept hidden from everyone, and shared with no one.
Davrim's Iron Mongery
Davrim appears at first to be a very tall dwarf; however, he is actually a half-dwarf, whose parentage dates back to the Knights of the Cresent Moon. Davrim is an ironsmith, a weaponsmith, and an armorer of legendary talent. His shop is filled with suits of magnificent armor, and quality weapons. Davrim (STR 18/00) is most famous for his leather working ability.
Blackdog's Blacksmithing
Depsite its name, Blackdog's is a reputable establishment. Kasil Bell, the owner of the smithy, keeps a number of black mastiffs as pets -- hence the name of the establishment. All matter of iron, armor, and weapons can be found here.
Rath's Apothecary
Rath is an expert herbalist and an accomplished alchemist. Most herbs and spell components can be found in his shop, as well as a few of his personal concoctions.
Notable Churches
The Empty Coffer (formerly the Coffers of Gold)
The church is devoted to the long missing Waukeen. Its priest renamed the church in honor of the missing power. The clergy has merged with that of Llira, but they are still having problems, believing that Waukeen will return to them. The high priest is a woman named Savira Kellerbough (LN cleric 8).
The House of Grace
The church is devoted to Sune Firehair, the Faerunian power of Beauty. The head priestess is a woman named Assira Olar (CG cleric 9).
The House of the Mighty
This church is located on the shores of the Deepwash, in the northern portion of the city. Several war galleys can be found here at almost any time. This is the church of Valkur the Mighty. The church is a large stone keep on the edge of a breakwater, and has a series of large wooden docks that the church owns. The high cleric, Valkin the Strong (LN specialty priest 10) has a deal with Baron Purdun. Valkin the Strong is allowed to hunt pirates with impunity, if the war galleys will come to the aid of Erlkazar in an emergency; to date, the deal has worked out well.
The War Hall of Order
It is a temple to both Tempus and the Red Knight. Both clergies make their homes here, and get along fairly well. The War Hall of Order is a large wooden complex, newly built after being destroyed in the Goblin Wars. There are two High Priests; the High Priest to Tempus is the human Largos Tarabon (LN specialty priest 8), and the High Priest to the Red Knight is the elf Aralai Da'Sasui (LNg fighter/specialty priest 13). 'Aralai Da'Sasui' is elven for 'daughter of battle'.
The House of the One
This tower and temple complex is home to the Church of Azuth. It is nearly as large as its brother temple in Llorbauth, and is still growing with the influx of mages into the population. The temple and mage libraries are cared for by Kiranda Estar (specialty priest 12).
The Halls of Order and Justice
This massive stone building with marble fascade is home to the local clergy of Tyr, the power of Justice. The church is well funded and looked after, considering the country's king is a paladin in service to Tyr and Torm. The High Cleric of Tyr and Chief Magistrate of Tyr in Dhulnarim is Juticar Fallin Tyrsworn (cleric 10). Fallin is also called the "Master of Hall".
The Pathfinder's Lodge
Newly built, the simple wooden hall houses the ever changing clergy of Shaundakul. The one constant member of the church is Teverim Kirstadd (specialty priest 9).
Inns/Taverns
The Lucky Halfling Inn & Tavern
This establishment is run by the plump hairfoot halfling Darris Furrow. Darris is comfortably rich, and can afford to have lower prices than other establishments in town. His brother is Farris Furrow, a cleric of Avoreen, and mayor of the nearby village of Furrowsrich.
The Drowned Dragon
This tavern is located on the Deepwash, and is the watering hole for most of the sailors that put into port. It is run by a swarthy, former sailor named Estos. Estos' most common tales involved the Deepwash's Dragon Turtle.
