Aeron Brem

Character concept by Dave Short, all rights reserved.

Barrister-Prior of Yatindar
Captain of the Guard (Chasadan)
Meridian Explorations Liaison

“Ooh, I don't want to do that….”

Date of Birth: Sometime around 1300 Avard.

Current Status: Spring, 1332 Avard. Aeron is currently assigned by the Church of Yatindar as a liaison to Meridian Explorations for the Ducal Mage of the Janis Plains.

Appearance

Aeron looks like a tough, no-nonsense fellow with a spark of mirth in his eyes. His formidable, grizzled appearance is covered with a full-length chain mail shirt. He wears two longswords, strapped across his back, and keeps a light shield at hand. Aeron wears an immaculate cloak that seems impervious to blood stains. The sword over his left shoulder serves as a holy symbol of Yatindar.

Background

Aeron Brem is originally from the far east, having signed up for the Fourth Crusades at an early age. He found his calling as a barrister and as a priest of Yatindar, and read further into the rules than many of his fellow barrister. Aeron learned to read the spirit of the law, rather than the letter of the law, and it helped him immensely during the War of the Undead and the invasion of Kur Maeth against the Nabrolians. When Kur Maeth attacked Rakore, Aeron joined the defectors in defending Rakore against the unjust Inquisition. Trained as a barrister and a priest, Aeron was also a formidable warrior and rose rapidly through the ranks.

Character

Aeron is a laid back, relaxed sort of fellow – the kind to warn you it's going to hurt, right before he hurts you. He believes in the spirit of the law rather than the letter of the law, and so he feels he has a bit of leeway in handling trouble. Aeron knows what real evil is, and he fights it at the source rather than dancing around the edges.
