Short Version: Codrus' servants Onre and Slate find an ancient cache with hundreds of cut garnets and citrines in it. They then catch up to the team north of Fasra, along the west bank of the Cold River. The team catches a touch of the runs from contaminated river water – water contaminated by either a troll or a priest of Mazripos, the Rot Goddess. After they recover, they continue moving on and find the merchant Maester Jaimee and his three Gray Wolves. The Gray Wolves are trained heavy infantrymen from the Church of Rain, known in many places as top notch body guards. Maester Jaimee is sick, and Jin nurses him back from the brink of death. Codrus mock battles two Gray Wolves at once, and loses to first blood. Greff and Felix mock battle the same two, and win to first blood. Greff then drinks all three under the table, and then the Gray Wolves are manacled up. On the morn, they begin interrogating Maester Jaimee – and learn quite a bit. Jaimee smuggled quite a bit for a man known as Les in Fasra to a dwarf called Iron John at Mount Basilisk. Les' most recent request was for four ballistae, a score of swords and crossbows, and 10,000gp in coins stamped by the Fourth Crusades.

Dinner was a white chicken chili that was delicious. We should've made more – or added rice. Dave was able to make it and get caught up, and we rolled from there.
